Wayfinder issues

The issue contract used to reconstruct each Modeller capability.

Wayfinder issues connected product intent, legacy evidence, and implementation acceptance without requiring contributors to learn the old source-tree shape. They used this contract:

  1. Outcome — the visible capability.
  2. Why now — why the reconstruction slice mattered.
  3. Interface — caller-visible inputs, invariants, and errors.
  4. Acceptance examples — concrete inputs and observable results.
  5. Legacy evidence — relevant code, tests, documents, and known behaviour.
  6. Disposition — what was reused, adapted, rewritten, or retired.
  7. Documentation impact — canonical pages changed with the implementation.

The issue was complete when behaviour was verified at the new module seam and the current documentation described the accepted result. This page remains as a record of that migration discipline; new work can use the same evidence-based shape without describing the current product as a successor.
